Survey Request Incentive Based
- 2 Emails
- Optional Landing Page and Thank You Page
- Incentive delivery email
- If you are asking your prospects and customers to take a quick survey, you will need an email marketing system that allows you to click links within the email, an actual survey, or a landing page with a webform. We do not provide the survey or the questions.
- The emails in the sequence indicate the survey will take less than 5 minutes. If it’s a longer survey, be sure to change the verbiage.
- When offering an incentive, it doesn’t have to cost you money. You can offer a free report, discount, free consultation...anything.
Email 1 - First Request
Subject Line: Would you be willing to share your opinion?
At [NAME OF COMPANY], we’re always working on new ideas. Ideas that, hopefully, improve our offerings and better serve all of our community.
Now, we’ve been in business long enough to know that not all of our ideas are awesome. Sometimes, the things we come up with are completely useless to you. Other times, we don’t act on an idea and find out later that it would have been super beneficial to you.
And, many times, ideas for improvements and offerings come directly from our community.
And that’s why we need you.
We’ve got more ideas and we need your feedback before we tackle any of them.
It takes less than 5 minutes of your time. And because you’re time is valuable, we want to offer you something special in return. Once you complete our form, we’ll give you:
[INCENTIVE FOR TAKING SURVEY]
If you’re willing to share, simply [HOW DO THEY PARTICIPATE].
And, if you’d like to message me directly with any additional thoughts or concerns, you can always email me at [EMAIL ADDRESS].
Thanks, in advance, for your time!
If you’re not going to have your contacts click a link in the email as your way of taking the survey, be sure to link to the survey or landing page you’ve set up.
Be sure you have a system in place for delivering your incentive once someone completes the survey.
Email 2 - Second Request
Send: Delay 2 Days
Subject Line: Will you take our quick survey?
Hey [CONTACT’S NAME],
I’m not sure if you got my last email, but we need your opinion. You see, we’re right in the middle of making some big changes in our business and we want to make sure our offerings align with what you need and expect from us.
It is our community that determines changes and improvements. Only with your feedback are we able to know where we should focus or attentions.
If you’re willing to give us 5 minutes, then [HOW DO THEY PARTICIPATE].
In exchange for your feedback, we’re going to give you: [INCENTIVE]. (Which will be delivered once you finish the survey).
If you want to reach me directly, you can do so at [EMAIL ADDRESS].
