Post Webinar Follow-up

  • Link to the Slide Deck Email
  • "Attendee" Special Offer Emails
  • This campaign is designed to have the first two emails "Link to the Slide Deck" and "First Webinar Offer Email" be sent either simultaneously or within hours of each other. The slide deck is great for those who missed the first part of your webinar or who had to jump off early. But you probably don't want to muddy your offer email with links to the slide deck. Your links in the offer email should link ONLY to the offer. So send both emails shortly after your webinar ends.
  • Be sure to clearly give a deadline on your special offer during the webinar. This campaign assumes your offer expires within 48 hours of the webinar, but it’s easy to change the deadline if you’re extending the offer another few days.
  • If your slide deck does not contain self-explanatory information, you can still use the email, just link to a webinar replay instead of the slide deck. (And be sure to change the verbiage of the email to say webinar replay.)

Email 1: Special Offer Recap

Subject Line: Don’t forget the webinar attendee special offer
Send: Immediately after webinar

Wow! Thanks for jumping on the webinar [NAME OF WEBINAR] with me today. It’s always great sharing valuable content with people, like you, who will use it to improve their lives.

As a reminder, all webinar attendees were offered a special deal. And that deal is this:

One of the reasons I love hosting webinars is to help individuals who are ready to make a change and just aren’t sure where to start.

This is a good starting place. You joined us on the webinar, and now, this special offer is designed to help you even more.

Thanks again for being there and let me know if you have any questions [BEST CONTACT INFO].

Remember, the special offer is only available for the next 48 hours. So if you’re going to buy, you need to do so now.

Email 2: Special Offer is Ending

Subject Line: Special offer ends in a few hours
Send: Within 24 hours of offer ending

Have I thanked you yet for being on the webinar? I really enjoyed it and appreciate your interest and commitment.

During the webinar, I mentioned a goal to help more people, who [PAIN THEY SUFFER], to really take control of their lives again. That’s why I offered you:

If you’re serious about making some changes in your life, then you’ll want to really consider this offer.

Because this offer is for webinar attendees only, you’ll need to act fast. (The deal ends in less than 24 hours.)

Let us know if you have any questions.

Pro Tip:

For the “pain they suffer” section, be as specific as possible so the prospect feels compelled to end their suffering. It might look like:

“ more people who feel that dark cloud hanging over their head - threatening their ability to function, connect with people, or find any happiness”...

Email 3 (Optional): Link to the Slide Deck

Subject Line: Need some notes from the webinar?
Send Suggestion: Send shortly after your webinar ends

Note: You’ll only want to send this email to your attendees and only if you plan to share access to your slide deck.

Thanks again for joining me for the webinar [NAME OF WEBINAR]. I loved having you there and hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed hosting it.

We covered a lot of information yesterday. Too much to remember. That’s why I’d like to offer you exclusive access to my slide deck.

Obviously, the slide deck includes my entire presentation, the statistics, the examples, the pictures. And that’s why I want you to have it - so you don’t miss anything.

Also, remember, the special offer you heard about at the end of the webinar is expiring soon, so you need take action now if you’re ready to move forward.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Pro Tip:

If you hosted a webinar without a special offer at the end, remove the last paragraph in this email - it won’t affect the readability of the email.
